Surface Preparation
The implementation of this paint coating is directly linked to how much the surface is prepared.
- Make sure that the exterior of the surface is dry and free from all pollutants.
- The surface must be perfectly free from laitance.
- Before applying the Weather coat Acrylic Spray, first get rid of laitance with the help of a wire brush or sweep blast.
Application Details
- Make sure that adequate ventilation is there during paint application and drying.
- Do not apply the Acrylic Weather Coat Spray when humidity surpasses 85% and condensation is probable.
- The surface temperature should be 3°C or above the dew point.
- Stir the mix with a broad flat stirrer before and during use; try using an upward-lifting movement.
- First, apply one coat of Weathercoat Primer and let it dry overnight. Use a specially designed spray gun; size should be 6-8mm nozzle and diameter 4-5 kg/cm2 (58-72psi)
