Recommended Areas of Application:

• Area of Use: Exterior and Interior
• Substrate: Timber, Metal, Masonry, Concrete, Plaster, Gypsum

Application Data:
• Brush or roller application techniques
• SOLVALUX-1 is thinner
• For ease of application, use a thinning ratio (by vol.) of 5% to 10%.

Applications Details:
• Make sure there is enough airflow while drying and applying.
• If condensation is probable and humidity is more than 95%, avoid applying.
• The surface temperature must be three degrees Celsius or more above dew point.
• Usage a broad, flat stirrer and vigorously lift the stirrer upwards to completely swirl the contents both before and during use.
Note: To improve look overall, it is suggested that this coating be slightly tinted with a tiny amount of final colour enamel before applying.
Conventional Spray: Make use of standard spraying tools.
Apply an even coat using a brush or roller, being careful to prevent runs and sags.

Recommended Paint System:

Timber

• Synthetic Wood Primer, one coat.
• 1 application of synthetic undercoat.
• Two coats of the Berger Enamels.

Concrete

• 1 application of synthetic undercoat.
• Two coats of the Berger Enamels.

Surface Preparation & Application:
The level of surface preparation has a direct impact on how well this coating performs.
• Make sure the surface is free of any pollutants, dry, and clean.
Steel: Sandblast the material to Swedish Standard Sa 2 12 to remove any corrosion.
Timber: Bison Wood Preservative can be used to further treat wood.
Gypsum, concrete, plaster, and masonry all require sound surfaces free of laitance. Use a wire brush or a blast of air to remove laitance.
