Surface Preparation
The performance of Royale matt luxury emulsion coating is related to the extent of surface preparation.
- Before applying the Royale matt emulsion, ensure that the surface is dry, clean and free from all pollutants.
- The surface must be free from debris and clean.
- It is advisable to remove laitance by utilizing a sweep blast or wire brush.
Note: The fungal development should be treated with a disinfectant solution. After drying the surface, one coat of plastaseal sealer can be utilized if needed.
Application Details
- Ensure satisfactory air ventilation is there during application and drying.
- Before applying Formaldehyde-free paint, make sure not to use it when humidity exceeds 85% and when condensation is likely.
- The surface temperature should be 3 °C or above the condensation level.
- Stir the Berger Royale Matt Emulsion paint thoroughly before and while utilizing it. Use a broad flat stirrer and an upward-lifting action. You can achieve a smooth and even coat with the help of a paint roller or brush to evade sags and rugs. Minimum two coats of Royale Matt are recommended for the most refined finish. Conventional Spray: Utilize standard spray equipment such as Airless Spray for best results.
