 Make sure the surface is free of any pollutants, dry, and clean.
 The surface must be solid and laitance-free.
 Use a wire brush or a sweeping blast to remove laitance.

 Make sure there is enough airflow while drying and applying.
 If condensation is probable and humidity is more than 85%, avoid applying.
 The surface should be 3°C or more above the dew point.
 Add sweet water to the substance to thin it out by 30 to 50% by volume.
 Usage a broad, flat stirrer and vigorously lift the stirrer upwards to completely swirl the contents both before and during use.
 Using a brush or roller, apply a uniform layer being careful to prevent runs and sags. Two coats at least are advised.
