Jotun Bengalac Gloss, Black - 18L
Features
It offers a long-lasting high gloss finish. Free of dangerous heavy metals like mercury, lead, cadmium, arsenic, and chromium, among others.
The best application is coating interior surfaces. can also be used to cover wooden and steel exterior buildings.
Concrete, steel, wood, and cement plaster all serve as substrates.
CONDITIONS AT APPLICATION :
When measured close to the substrate, the temperature should be at least 10 °C and at least 3 °C above the air's dew point. In small spaces, adequate airflow is typically needed to ensure proper drying. The substrate's moisture content shouldn't be higher than 4%. (by weight). Until the coating is completely dried, it should not be subjected to oil, solvents, or mechanical stress.
DRYING TIMES:
Drying times are typically influenced by factors like air flow, temperature, film thickness, and number of coats.
1. The advice given is to recoat with the same type of general paint.
2. If more than one coat is applied, the number, order, and total thickness of the prior applications applied will all affect drying timeframes.
3. Before applying the next layer, the surface needs to be clean, dry, and free of contaminants.

Technical Data Sheet
Film thickness per coat
Typical recommended range
Dry film thickness 25 - 35 µm
Wet film thickness 65 - 90 µm
Film thickness will vary and is calculated as average
Theoretical spreading rate 15 - 11 m²/l
Spreading speed is affected by the amount of applied film, the type of texture, the porosity of the surface, flaws, temperature, and painting waste, among other factors.
At the thinnest dry film thickness, the maximum spread rate per coat is obtained, and vice versa.
Jotun Thinner No. 2 is a thinner.
10 percent maximum dilution.
