Surface Preparation
The implementation of this coating is straightly related to how much the surface area was prepared.
Ensure the surface is dry, clean and free from all impurities before applying the Berger Emulsion.
- Ensure that the surface is free from laitance.
- Remove cement laitance by sweep blast or wire brush before using Asian Paint Berger Emulsion.
Note: Fungal development should be treated with Bison Fungicidal Solution before Berger Emulsion application. When the first coat of the emulsion is dry, You must apply Plastaseal Penetrating Sealer for firmness.
Application Details
- Assure a good amount of ventilation is there during application. Remember that the surface temperature should be 3°C or above the dew point.
- Avoid applying Asian Paint Berger Emulsion when humidity exceeds 85% and condensation is possible.
- Stir the paint well before and during use. Use a broad and flat stirrer in an upward-lifting motion.
Brush or Roller: Avoid sags and runs by applying an even coat of Berger Emulsion. Two coats are recommended for Asian Paint Eggshell Emulsion. Conventional Spray: Utilize standard spray tools.

Practical Covering Capacity: For estimation of practical covering capacity, following factors to be taken into account: the surface profile, uneven application, overspray, losses in container and equipment, etc.
